The Derwentwater Hotel

We enjoyed location and staff of this old-fashioned hotel. The room was neat with a view and had central heating, a work desk, tea and coffee making equipment.

I loved its location and people, lovely building. Outstandingly accommodating staff were on shift. The room was with a view. Actually everything was fine, my next choice again in Keswick.

The staff were polite and welcoming, with new management and staff.

Luxurious venue, roomy bar area, brilliant location down to lake. Plenty of fantastic food.

Staff and location were ideal and I liked that the place was fairly clean. The rooms were with a view.

My bed was not very comfortable.

Everything was perfectly fine, accommodating staff made our stay really lovely. We had a few warm drinks in the fantastic hotel's bar.

Wonderful food and atmosphere, I liked to be here. Restaurant was bright and spotlessly clean. The bonus was standard room decor and inviting bar. Easy check-in was a bonus.

We enjoyed the stay, it was a fantastic experience. Every detail there was second to none, including amenities and rooms. Rustic hotel set in the fairly nice area. We had very quick check-in on arrival.

The staff was well trained, the accommodation was restful and spotlessly clean. Exceptional and appetising food. It was really close to our beloved town and lake and river side, ideal location overall. We loved the very peaceful stay.

Everything was nice, and staff were obliging. Plenty of food at breakfast like cereal, porridge, fruit and fruit juice. The room was airy and welcoming. Enjoyed Keswick, the hotel was absolutely gorgeous.

Every time in Keswick we stay in this hotel.

We truly enjoyed the loyal staff and the location was great. Beds are big and comfy. Worth its 3 stars.

In a hotel like this - rubbish is unacceptable.

stunning position along with polite staff are the reasons we appreciated it. our superior room had double beds. the hotel was in a crowded area. for evening drinks visit farmers arms, it is located within 5 minutes by foot. think that derwentwater is beyond compare.

Farmers Arms, located within 5 minutes' walk, is a good dining option. A free Wi-Fi worked well.

Nothing I didn't like to be fair.

We appreciated staying at derwentwater. Nothing bothered us with the hotel...
